Candybar 4 is now out
Candybar 4 is released!

I consider this candybar4 still to be a beta.

PROBLEMS:
---------
Huge resource drag on the servers
Missing Cookie support
Need to rework grid indexing (i.e. scrolling to reach hair 2000 requires around 12 clicks)
Does not work for Safari browser on the Mac

I had to start rewriting the engine of the dollmaker, I realized I could reduce the load by OVER 400%. I am nearing the end of the rewrite, so you should soon be seeing it live.



This is now the LARGEST doll maker on the net, and because of the size of the dollmaker, and the very large loads I get from all these fans it really helps me to trouble shoot bottlenecks on the dollmaker.



PENDING:
--------
1) MAJOR REWRITE of code ... (3 weeks done)
2) Add color tabs to ALL items (if they have 200 or more pieces)
3) Missing full body boy items, need to break apart and recombine (2 weeks worth of work)
4) Add cookie support
5) Fix wardrobe delete button.
6) Fix 'link' button
7) Remove duplicates (low priority)

Sweet! I noticed that we can now even choose just the hair from the full body dolls. That's awesome! :)

As you find problems or you are missing features please post here and I will try to get to it as quickly as I can.
Hmm, all I noticed so far were some missing faces, starting from 50 and 70, but I'm not sure if there's supposed to be faces in those. XD

Great dollmaker. Thank you SO much for taking the time to do this! :D

The thumbnails for the eyes from halfway down page 75 onward are broken as are the noses from the end of page 50 onward.

1. #0237 under "Characters" is misaligned with the head, both in live preview and HTML mode, but it looks alright if I click on the "Gif" button.

2. Broken image icon if I use the "Copy HTML code into your webpage" button. I'm guessing it's the missing watermark.

I applaud your effort for creating this. I've spent hours happily creating dolls on it. Thank you so much!

Hi, i love the new site. Just a question about converting to GIF - what if I just wanted to copy and paste the picture? I right click and copy but when I try to paste it, there is a red X.

This used to work on the HTML converter on Candybar 3 but it's not working on 4. Aaaahhh!! I'm dying to create and post dolls but I can't!

Please, please, please try, if possible, to put color tabs for EVERYTHING.
It's really, really, REALLY annoying to have to search through hundreds of items when all you want is a blue skirt, or pink shoes... >_<
Just a suggestion! Your CandyBar dollmakers are still great, though! ^_^

OMG i love dressing up your dolls i make a least 3 to 7 everyday and at first i didnt know that candybar dollmaker 4 came out though now i am sl GLAD cause now i wont have to use candybar dollmaker 1,2, and 3

It is great!! I love the way that you can use the bodies from the pre-made dolls!! Wonderful overall! The only thing I don't like is how the items are not in color coded tabs(and the fact that it takes FOREVER to load, but that is probaly just me computer.) I going to waste away hours!!! Thanks for creating it!! I can tell it took a LOT of hard work!!

Thank you! :) I'm glad to see more items and a newer layout. I think I found this little gem right around version 2's release, and since then, not only has it been an amusing creative outlet, it's also helped me a bit when I write-I feel I can connect to my characters better when I can see them. Sounds funny, but who am I to question the muses :3.

though one question, and probably a silly one, but this is compatable in Firefox, correct? IE doesn't like me as of late, and the question's one that the answer is probably painfully obvious.

Anyway, thank you (again) for developing this!

I really really like all of your candybar doll makers, but there are a few things I noticed about this one...

1. Colors
One of my favorite features on the other one was sorting by colors, which made it easyer to wade through the many options. Do you not have this, or am I just looking in the wrong place?

2. Closing
Even if I turned off the computer, I could still reopen the Candybar Doll Maker and the doll I had been working on was still there. Now, some random doll comes up when I re-open it.

This is especailly annoying when it's not supposed to close.

Other than that, I LOVE IT!!! (Especially the new layout)

If none of this is valid, just ignore me. I'm kinda slow anyway.

i played it yesterday and it is really great! ♥♥♥ but when i tried 2 put on hair they would only hav the back hair showing. and if the hair was in a bun or something like that she would be bald! but overall its really great! i ♥ it!
